Part of the project, MEC distribution memeza alarms, with more focus to elderly women.
While engaging with motorists, MEC kept on appealing to men to stop Gender Based Violence (GBV).
“In most cases during the season we experience lot of GBV cases. So we appeal to all men in this province to actually protect women and girl children.”
MEC was accompanied by the Acting Chief Director for Civilian Secretariat for Police Ms Dikeledi Letsapa and the Acting Provincial Commissioner Major General Patrick Asaneng.
