VRMED attended to a collision on Walter Sisulu road in Wilgehof, Bloemfontein on Friday afternoon. On arrival crews found two vehicles had collided at the intersection.
The collision disturbed a nearby bee hive; causing a swarm to sting the occupants from the vehicles as well as bystanders.
One of the drivers was transported in stable condition to hospital due to multiple stings.
