The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has commended the Police Task team comprising of Crime Intelligence, Tracking Team, and Detectives for arresting four suspects aged between 18 and 38 in connection with the brutal murder of four people at Majeje village under Namakgale policing area outside Phalaborwa on Thursday, 09 June 2022 at about 08:00.
The four were brutally murdered and their bodies set alight soon after a business robbery at the local Tuck shop in which its owner was shot dead.
Soon after the incident, the Provincial Commissioner established a Team to track down the killers. The suspects were arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning, 11 June 2022. More arrests are expected.
The suspects will appear before Namakgale Magistrate Court tomorrow on Monday, 13 June 2022, facing four counts of murder.
The Police investigations are still continuing.
