A man was pistol whipped during a home invasion on Pumkin Road in Waterloo – KZN yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to a communal living residence at approximately 23:27.
On arrival, Reaction Officers met with a couple. They explained that they were asleep when their door was kicked open. Three armed males entered their room and demanded valuables.
They stole a cellphone and a wallet containing R300 in cash and bank cards. They pistol whipped the male victim before they fled the premises.
He sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
