An operation involving Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (NC), TSHENOLO P.I, Gauteng Traffic Police SLEU, SAPS Crime Intelligence, and TMPD TRT led to the arrest of a suspect linked to business and armed robberies.
Acting on information about suspects terrorising businesses, officers went to two addresses. At the first address in the Akasia policing precinct, officers apprehended a suspect found in possession of live rifle ammunition.
The suspect then led officers to a second address in Soshanguve Block TT, where officers discovered two firearms with live ammunition and goods suspected to be stolen.
All recovered weapons and stolen items were confiscated, and the suspect was arrested.
