As the suspect tried to flee with the stolen goods, two canines within the yard began to attack him.
In an effort to escape, the suspect attempted to strike the dogs while attempting to climb over the fence. However, despite his efforts, the suspect managed to flee the scene without any stolen property but sustained severe injuries.
A description of the suspect was quickly provided to KZNVIP Response Officers, and within a short time, the suspect was located and apprehended near the Cornubia Flats area, sustaibing puncture wounds.
South African Police Service (SAPS) were called to the scene to take over the situation.
