A successful collaboration between the Community Policing Forum (CPF), community members, and security companies led to the arrest of a housebreaking suspect in the Clayfield area of Phoenix.
Members of *KZNVIP* were alerted by community members about a suspicious individual on a residential premises. Upon arrival, reaction officers confirmed that the suspect had broken into the home and was still inside.
The home was immediately surrounded by CPF members and security teams. The suspect attempted to hide in the ceiling but was forced out with pepper spray. In a desperate bid to escape, the suspect fell from the roof, injuring himself, and was promptly apprehended.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) was called to the scene, and the suspect was arrested and detained. Well Done to all involved in this successful operation!
