West Rand Illegal mining operation
The Gauteng Traffic Wardens together with the SAPS Vispol, Crime intelligence and drone unit conducted an illegal mining operation with focus areas including the Randfontein, Bongweni and RobenPark.
The officials confiscated a generator and one bag of GBM. Furthermore, one suspect was arrested for contravening the immigration act and 06 suspects for illegal mining.
