A man tragically died after being attacked by a mob in Tshikuwi, Nzhelele, Limpopo, following accusations that he had stolen batteries from a telecommunications tower.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when locals, suspecting him of theft, subjected him to a mob justice attack.
He was severely beaten, and although his friends managed to escape, the man could not survive the violence.
When police arrived at the scene, the mob had already doused the man in petrol, intending to set him on fire.
He was later taken to a local Hospital, where he passed away due to the injuries sustained from the brutal attack.
