ECSA was called to respond to a structural fire in Georginia, Roodepoort.
Upon arrival, crews found a smoldering single garage next to a house. Thankfully, a resident had managed to extinguish most of the fire using buckets.
ECSA, along with Fidelity SecureFire Engine and COJ Engine 20, worked together to fully extinguish the remaining fire, check for fire spread, and conduct dampening operations to prevent reignition.
The teams collaborated to pack up all equipment and conduct a final walk-through to ensure the area was safe for residents to retrieve their belongings.
