KZNVIP Reaction Officers were dispatched to reports of a break in at a home On Earlsfield, Newlands West.
Upon arrival it was established that the homeowner was not at the premises and suspects managed to damage burglar guards before entering the home.
Multiple valuables were taken from the home before the suspects fled. Suspects description or vehicle used cannot be confirmed at this time.
Residents are recommended to invest in a basic alarm monitoring system for homes which is a preventative measure for asset loss.
All emergency services were in attendance.
