A homeowner investigating erratic barking from his dogs discovered a Black Mamba measuring approximately 2 metres on his property.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from the homeowner on Monday at approximately 19:59. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the property situated in Buffelsdraai – KZN and located the snake in a storage room.
Area Manager Nkosinathi Ndaba captured the highly venomous reptile and relocated it to a more suitable environment.
