Three suspects armed with firearms gained entry into a tuck shop in Buffelsdraai – KZN and held up an employee sleeping in the premises during the early hours of this morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the business at approximately 02:24. On arrival, it was established that the robbers initially drilled a hole through the wall and observed the victim’s movements.
They thereafter climbed onto the roof and removed metal sheeting to gain access into the premises. They stole meat, packs of energy drinks, chocolates and keys before they fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the robbers, but no arrests were made.
