Just before 8am this morning VEMA Paramedics received a call for a drowning of an infant.
Immediately VEMA along with ALS Paramedics Medical Services dispatched resources to scene.
Once on scene it was established that the infant was pulled from the pool and CPR was performed by family members.
The infant was assessed and found to be in stable condition.
The infant was transported to a nearby hospital for further care and management.
This just shows early CPR saves lives.
