Earlier this morning, Mi7 National Group’s Control Room received a report from a group in Northdale reporting that a suspect was attempting to break into a property on Fuschia Road.
Mi7 Reaction Officers in the area were immediately dispatched to the premises where they found and apprehended the suspect.
It is believed the suspect initially confronted and assaulted a resident in the Truro Plaza area, and forced them back to their home at Fuschia Road.
There, it is alleged the suspect entered the premises by breaking in through the front door. Once inside, the suspect allegedly assaulted two elderly residents present in the house.
A search of the suspect’s belongings uncovered narcotics and marijuana.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
