Shots were fired during a home invasion in Mhlasini – KZN during the early hours of this morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the property. On arrival, it was established that suspects opened fire opened fire on the front door with a shot gun.
They entered the residence and robbed the victim of a cellphone, two plate stove and sandals before they fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Two spent shot gun cartridges were recovered at the scene.
