A Pakistani National was shot during a business robbery in Mhlasini – KZN this morning (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 08:34. On arrival, it was established that two (2) armed males entered the General Dealer and shot the male. They thereafter stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbers fired shots while fleeing and robbed a pedestrian for a cellphone. The injured foreign national was expedited to a medical facility privately prior to the arrival of First Responders. The extent of his injuries were unknown.
It could also could not be confirmed if the Pakistani National was the owner or employee of the business.
