A 23-year-old Malawian national was robbed of his valuables while parked in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
The motorcyclist arrived at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) complaining that he was robbed by three knife wielding suspects in full view of the public and not provided assistance.
The man added that he parked his Big Boy motorcycle on George Sewpersad Street and was awaiting food orders for delivery when three men approached him and robbed him of his passport and cellphone. They thereafter fled through a crowd. The victim was not injured.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects, but no arrests were made.
