Earlier today, while on regular patrols in Northdale, a Mi7 Reaction Officer was dispatched to a client’s property after an alarm activation.
After checking the property, which had signs of a break in, he spotted a man nearby. Once he saw the Reaction Officer approaching, the man began acting suspiciously, attempting to walk away. The man was carrying a bag filled with various items.
He was apprehended, and upon further investigation, was found in possession of several pairs of shoes, jewellery, and cash. He admitted to breaking into the property and stealing the items.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
