Earlier this evening, whilst one of our retail sector guards was conducting a routine patrol in a popular Hillcrest shopping center, he noticed a male suspect snatch a lady’s hand bag before fleeing on foot.
The suspect was handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
The officer immediately called for back up and a foot chase ensued, resulting in the suspect being apprehended and the hand bag returned to its rightful owner.
This success serves to reiterate our commitment to zero tolerance on the criminal element in our retail division, ensuring a safe environment for all this festive season.
