MEC for Transport and Human Settlements Siboniso Duma is currently in Pietermaritzburg for the department’s day one Strategic Planning Workshop.
He is joined by representatives from the National Department of Transport, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Cooperative Governance & Traditional Affairs, PRASA, GP Roads & Transport.
The main purpose of this Workshop is to develop a strategic plan for the department in line with the priorities of the 7th Administration.
In addition the workshop also seeks to ensure integration of other modes of transport such as maritime into the daily business plans of the Department.
