A German Shepherd was killed after it was bitten by a Black Mamba in Temple Valley – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Valley View Drive to assist in capturing the highly venomous snake.
On arrival, it was established that the German Shepherd attacked the snake after it entered the yard. The canine was bitten in the process. Reaction Officer Bryson Bisnath captured the reptile measuring approximately 1.5 metres.
The dog demised while being transported to a Veterinarian.
