Durban Metro Police Service conducted a successful alcohol roadblock operation near Sasol garage on Umngeni Road in Durban.
A total of 9 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The breathalyzer readings ranged from 0.29mg/100ml to a shocking 1.03mg/100ml.
Reminder: Drinking and driving is not worth the risk! You are not only putting your life in danger but also the lives of innocent road users. If you plan on drinking, make arrangements for a designated driver or use a ride service.
