Executive Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza welcomed attendees at the National Taxi Alliance elective conference taking place at Emperors Palace, #KemptonPark.
The two-day meeting is attended by Transport Deputy Minister Mkhuleko Hlengwa. #CoEMayor Xhakaza reminded members of the taxi industry how critical they are in the growth of the economy and appealed to the delegates to be dedicated in the duties of carrying the nation on their backs to ensure the success of this public transport mode.
Mayor Xhakaza says #Ekurhuleni has one of the biggest highways and interchanges which are vital for industry to take advantage and capitalise on.
