In the early hours of this morning, a white Polo was stolen in the Davenport area. Thanks to our swift response and teamwork, the vehicle was recovered around 7am in the North region.
This is just one example of how we are utilizing our new fleet and the introduction of smart policing to improve response times, combat crime, and enhance safety in eThekwini.
As part of Plan 4 of the Integrated Development Plan, our focus is to ensure “Safer Cities” by strengthening law enforcement capabilities, increasing visibility, and using cutting-edge technology.
With this vision, we are working towards making EThekwini Municipality one of the safest places in Africa.
