A 38-year-old foreign male national nabbed for dealing and possession of drugs worth more than R200 000

The members of Provincial Crime Intelligence Cluster Coordination Narcotics Task Team together with Provincial Organised Crime Unit have apprehended a 38-year-old foreign national in connection with a case of dealing and possession of drugs at a residence in Bendor, Polokwane on 21 August 2024.

Intelligence was gathered about suspected illegally activities, which were happening in the premise, and an intelligence driven operation was immediately executed.

Police managed to search the premise and found 26 bags each containing 100 grams of Cat cocaine, 05 bags each containing 50 mandrax tablets and 03 bags each containing 100 grams of crystal meth drugs with an estimated street value of more than two hundred thousand of rands together with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was immediately placed under an arrest.

The foreign national male suspect is due to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate court soon facing a charge of dealing and possession of drugs.

Police investigations are continuing.
