KZNVIP Officers whilst on Patrol in the Newlands West Area were notified by Residents of suspicious male exiting a property, a description was provided and the alleged suspect manage to flee.
Moments later the suspect was located in the nearby vicinity of the kamatchee Aman temple and apprehended by KZNVIP as he was breaking the concrete off a fence to steal the metal rods from inside.
Suspect was taken and handed over Newlands SAPS.
