Improving border security in the Mpumalanga Province is one of the top priorities for Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC, Mr. Jackie Macie. In ensuring that, the MEC today (19 July 2024) monitored the borderline.
He was accompanied by the Acting Head of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Mr. Bongani Kubhayi and the Provincial Commander of the South African Defence Force (SANDF), Colonel Gopane.
They flew through from Komatipoort to Mbuzini and monitored the borderline that separates the province and the two neighboring countries, namely; Eswatini and Mozambique.
