Attempted hijacking reported in Newlands West.
Feedback from KZN VIP Response officer – Advised made contact with members of the community advised one unknown vehicle arrived outside the premises while the homeowner was entering the property and held them up at gunpoint and the homeowner reacted with his personal firearm whereby the suspects opened fire on the homeowner resulting him getting shot multiple times.
KZN VIP Response officer and SAPS were on the scene.
