A 21 year old suspect was run over by a minibus taxi while fleeing the scene of a Robbery this morning in the Verulam – CBD – KZN. The taxi driver then fled following the collision.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to the scene on Wick Street.
Reaction Officers failed to locate the complainant that was robbed and the injured male was not arrested.
It was later established that the victim also left the scene after being robbed by two males.
The suspect was treated by Paramedics from EMRS and transport to a local government hospital.
A second suspect fled on foot.
