Members of the Welkom K9 Unit and Counter Narcotics received information about drug dealing in Dagbreek, Welkom.
The information was operationalised and the house of the suspect was identified and approached on 19 April 2024 at about 10:30 in Tempest Road, Dagbreek, Welkom.
Members managed to seize the following drugs: eight packets containing 1000 each of Mandrax tablets, Crystal Meth, an undisclosed amount of cash notes, a birth certificate, a driver’s license, and an identity document. He was hunted until he was arrested later in Welkom. A 32-year-old suspect will appear in Welkom Magistrate Court on the 22 April 2024.
