IPSS Search and Rescue division has been deployed to various areas along the KZN North Coast where there is localized flooding.
Teams have received multiple calls for help from people trapped in houses and cars. Search and Rescue teams are working closely with IPSS Medical Rescue paramedics and other rescue teams to assist as many people as possible.
We urge everyone to avoid driving in this weather and to avoid crossing low lying bridges. We also urge everyone to remain indoors and only vacate houses and buildings if there is fear of collapse.
