Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani has today, 14 Thursday 2023 Monitored the Law enforcement operation that was conducted at N1 Makhado, Vhembe District.
MEC Radzilani was joined by the acting Executive Mayor of Vhembe District Municipality, Cllr Joice Bila and used the moment to engage with motorists to prioritize road safety during their trips in the Province.
MEC Radzilani while addressing the parade indicated that from the 15th of December 2023, Law Enforcement officers will now work over time, to ensure safety and compliance on Provincial critical roads.
“We urge everyone to comply and take extra precautions during their trips within the Province, our Law enforcement officers will not negotiate but will arrest and fine those who are breaking the law, avoid driving while drunk and look out for pedestrians crossing the roads” said MEC Radzilani.
MEC Radzilani concluded by highlighting that the Provincial Government is expecting heightened visibility of Police and Traffic officials on all corners of the Province.
