The intensified multi-disciplinary weekly #OperationShanela conducted from 04 December until 10 December 2023 in all five districts of Limpopo resulted in the arrest of 1,828 suspects for various offences. The multi-disciplinary forces also recovered 11 firearms and 60 various assorted live rounds of ammunition.
Other notable successes recorded during the week under review include 11 stolen/hijacked motor vehicles, 980 counterfeit cigarettes sticks, 2219 grams of Crystal Meth, 2198 grams of
Methcathinone and 20 grams of Nyaope drugs were among items recovered during the operations.
