The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety hosted the District Community Safety Debate competition jointly for Capricorn and Waterberg on Saturday, 04 November 2023 in Mokopane.
Participating learners from Hibron, DG Tsebe, and Gojela Secondary Schools debated on topics aimed at raising awareness and education around community safety.
With District eliminations now concluded, all roads lead to the Provincial competition, scheduled for November 2023. Our key stakeholders, being the Limpopo Department of Education Department of Correctional Services, and the South African Police Service, were also in attendance together with Community Policing Forum (CPF), Young civilians on Patrol (YCOP), and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) participants.
