On Friday 29 September 2023 at 11:00, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested a 52-year-old male suspect, facing charges of possession and possible dealing of illegal substances.
Following information received from the community members about individuals selling drugs in the area, Officers visited a residence on Malgaan Road in the Dukathole section, where they found a 52-year-old male suspect in his room, in possession of thirty-two (32) quarter and thirteen (13) half Mandax pills, thirteen (13) green knot plastic with Nyaope, six (6) ziplock bags of rock and six (6) ziplock bags of crystal meth, with an estimated value of five thousand Rands (R5000) and four hundred Rands (R400 cash of.
The offender was taken to Germiston police station, facing charges of possession of illegal substances and ‘possible dealing. He is expected to appear at the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
