On Friday Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a stabbing at a residential property in the Menlo Park area.
On arrival on the scene, a female was found with multiple stab wounds and in critical condition.
Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize her before she was airlifted by the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that she required.
