Copper cable theft and malicious damage to government property

Bull Security control room received a call of a suspect busy breaking open a traffic light on January Masilela Drive.
Our units swiftly responded and upon arrival found the suspect still busy removing copper cable from the traffic light.

The suspect noticed our units and attempted to run away, but our officers quickly caught up and managed to detain the suspect.

A big bag full of copper cables was found in his possession.

The suspect was handed over to Brooklyn SAPS, who arrested him for cable theft and malicious damage to government property.
