Yesterday morning our control room received a panic activation from one of our clients.
The client informed us that two suspects were busy breaking in.
Our units swiftly responded and upon arrival, the suspects started jumping walls.
Backup was called in whereby our units closed off all the streets in the area to see where the suspects would jump out.
The community joined as well as another private security company.
Our officer Alex Bosch noted the two suspects jumping out of a yard whereby a chase on foot ensued.
After searching through a premisses in Biotite Street our officers Bosch Franklin and Dirk Van Ecke managed to detain the suspect.
Numerous breaking tools were found in his possession.
Unfortunately, the second suspect managed to get away.
The suspect was handed over to Lytttelton SAPS.
