Yesterday, our team received a message on a WhatsApp group whereby a customer reported that an intruder was inside his premises. Our team immediately jumped into action but were informed the suspects had left the premises. The customer had given us an indication of the direction in which the suspects went and a description of the clothes they were wearing. They had fled the scene with three of his car rims. Our team searched but did not see anyone matching the description.
We then decided to check the scrap yards in the area and found all three rims inside the Dundee scrap yard on Gray Street. The owner of the scrap yard agreed that he had purchased it a few minutes ago. The customer was contacted to collect his rims and was happy to have had these items recovered. Well done to our team!
