The Police in Mokwakwaila outside Tzaneen has launched a search operation for a 7-year-old boy who has been reported missing over the weekend.
It is alleged that the boy, Gift Mathibela left home on Saturday, 26 November 2022 at about 13:00 and never returned back after playing with other children at Mokgwathi village.

Search processes some clothes including a cap, pair of trousers, and a t-shirt were found in the river and were ultimately being identified by the family of the missing boy.
The SAPS Search and Rescue team has been deployed in the search operation and investigations are continuing.
