A wanted suspect was arrested by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) & the Verulam SAPS during a disruptive operation conducted in the Verulam CBD – KZN today (Friday).
Reaction Officers & SAPS Officials converged on several locations in the CBD frequented by drug users. Several individuals were arrested after they were found in possession of dangerous weapons & heroin. One suspect was detained after it was confirmed that he was being sought by Law Enforcement for a business break-in. He initially denied the allegations however Reaction Officers were in possession of CCTV footage linking him to the incident.
The suspects were detained at the Verulam SAPS.
