VRMED is currently on the scene of an industrial fire at a transformer manufacturer in Hamilton, Bloemfontein. One person was transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation in stable condition after rescuing a family of dogs that were on the premises. According to information, an explosion was heard prior to the fire.

Mangaung fire and rescue is currently battling the blaze after oil caught fire.
