On Friday 28 October 2022, Hawks members from Port Shepstone Serious Organised Crime Investigation working together with Crime Intelligence arrested a 32-year-old suspect for dealing drugs in the Margate area on South Coast.
Members received information about drug dealing activities in the area and an undercover operation was conducted. The suspect was strategically engaged and found in possession of pure oil-based crystal meth to the street value of approximately R30 000-00.
The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with dealing drugs. He is expected to appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court today.
