A 63-year-old female sustained minor injuries after 4 armed men robbed her home in Riet River – KZN.
The woman was confronted in her prayer room by the robbers who dragged her to the living room and demanded valuables. The suspects ransacked the entire residence before they stole a Samsung and LG TV, an undisclosed amount of cash, and her Samsung cell phone. It could not be confirmed if a getaway vehicle was used. The victim could also confirm how the robbers entered her home.
The female sought assistance from neighbors who contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA). Reaction Officers and RUSA Medics were immediately dispatched to the scene and on arrival, rendered first aid to the victim.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
