Tshwane Metro Police Tactical Unit members conducted a joint operation aimed at apprehending culprits involved in armed robberies in Pretoria West

The TMPD Tactical unit members together with crime intelligence and other units, conducted operations in Pretoria west to find syndicates involved in business robberies, armed robberies, and possession of unlicensed firearms.

The suspects were said to be using a silver Grey Toyota quest to commit these crimes. The first house was searched in Lotus Gardens where one of the suspects, a South African male was found. They found him with a pallet revolver gun.
The second house was in Saulsville where the second suspect, a Zimbabwean national was also found with a Pallet gun.
The third suspect, a South African male was found in Saulsville with the vehicle, a silver-grey Toyota quest which was used in committing the crimes. The suspects would use different number plates every time.

On the fourth house that was raided in Lotus gardens, a silver Audi A3 vehicle was found. Information received was that it belonged to the mastermind behind these robberies. No suspect was found but the vehicle was impounded and checked.

It was discovered that the Audi A3 was linked to a crime of theft. The case will be investigated further.
The arrested suspects who match the description of the three culprits linked with the Toyota quest will appear in court soon.

One of the suspects is an Uber driver, bags that are used for food deliveries were also found in the vehicle.
