On Tuesday 14 December 2021, Hawks members from Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation unit working together with Crime Intelligence and Durban Metro Drug Team arrested a 21-year-old suspect for dealing drugs at Phoenix.
Police received information about a suspect who was dealing drugs. An undercover operation was conducted and they proceeded to the said residence. A search was conducted and they found crack cocaine, heroin capsules, and mandrax tables to the street value of approximately R16 850-00.
The suspect was placed under arrest and charged for dealing drugs. He is expected to appear in the Verulam Magistrate’s Court today.
