Wood and iron home guttered in a fire in Waterloo

A wood and iron home on Pumpkin Road in Waterloo, KZN destroyed in a fire.

Residents contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after residents noticed the structure engulfed in flames. On arrival, RUSA Members with assistance from the public used a garden hose and contained the fire. The Ethekwini Fire Department arrived shortly thereafter and extinguished the blaze. The structure and its contents were completely destroyed.

The cause of the fire was not established.
