In the early hours of this morning members of the SAPS were performing their duties along the R102 in Phoenix policing precinct. The police officers stopped a bakkie on the R102 after vehicle raised their suspicions.
Upon searching the vehicle, the police officers found various LG products. The two occupants who were found in the vehicle were questioned about the items but could not explain where they got the items from.
The said suspects, a male and a female, both aged 39, were placed under arrest and taken to the Phoenix police station for further processing. Both suspects were charged for being in possession of property suspected to be stolen and will appear in the Verulam Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 23 August 2021 facing the same charges.
