Since last night until this morning, police officers from the Ulundi Public Order Police embarked on an operation at Ntinini Reserve and Engwebini Village in Babanango. Upon arrival at Ntinini Reseve, a 58-year-old was found in possession of an AK47, a revolver and 18 rounds of ammunition.
The team proceeded to another homestead at Engwebini Village where a 34-year-old suspect was found in possession of a pistol with four rounds of ammunition. Both suspects were placed under arrest for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. They are expected to appear before the Babanango Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
